ouR sTORY
Live & Let Live Foundation (LL&F) is a not-for-profit organization that was formed in 2015 and registered in 2019. LL&LF is dedicated to improving the lives of youth, adults, and seniors from diverse ethnocultural backgrounds in Scarborough and the York Region.
Our first program was introduced and executed on January 17, 2019.
MISSION
LL&LF provides a platform for individuals to express themselves and work towards a thriving community, through inclusiveness and socialization.
VISION
Creating safe and healthy communities through Health & Wellness programs.
Mental Health
This organization provides comprehensive, mental health services—both in-person and virtually— including information sessions on depression, anxiety and stress management. Our goal is to help people reduce stress, build coping skills and foster lasting resilience for improved emotional and psychological well-being.

Elder Abuse
Elder abuse refers to intentional or neglectful acts by a caregiver or trusted individual that harms a senior’s health, safety, or well-being. The Live and Let Live foundation strives to improve the quality of life of older adults through targeted programs and services—empowering seniors with independence, meaningful engagement and the knowledge to recognize mistreatment.
Food Security

Food insecurity is a critical and ongoing issue across the world. The Live and Let Live Foundation team works to support food justice locally and globally, by donating to countries such as Pakistan, India, Yemen and South Africa. We also hold events for the community, where food is distributed and accessible for all families that attend, as food insecurity is a rising problem in the GTA.

Education for
Newcomers

The Live and Let Live Foundation’s Newcomer Education services aid individuals and families through every step of adjusting to their new life. From orientation and an introduction to the community, to cultural-orientation workshops and a gateway to referrals for housing, employment, and social support. Our goal is to ensure newcomers gain the skills, confidence, and community connections they need to succeed in their new home.

Empower Women
Many of our programs are catered towards empowering women, as we close gaps in access to care and opportunity by offering events for socializing, mental health counselling, skill workshops, and physical activity. These events support women facing loneliness, hardship, helping them rebuild confidence, achieve self-sufficiency, and be independent.

Empower Famalies
This organization brings parents and children together in a respectful, supportive environment with life-skills development, recreational programs, and peer support groups. By creating fun and engaging events, we help families build resilience, strengthen relationships, and attain lasting community connections.
