GOLDEN GIRLS PROGRAM
Golden Girls is a group of ladies that join the program each week to maintain good health. This group consists of married women, single mothers, single women, retired women, women with grievances, especially those who have lost their loved ones, women with low self-esteem and low self-confidence.
Live & Let Live Foundation provides quarterly programs to mixed groups in the form of socializing, networking and
connecting with the community.
eg : Ramadan Iftar Party, Information sessions on various topics as mentioned above.
FEMALE QUARTERLY GALAS
Female Galas are executed each quarter with great themes, and the Galas are welcoming women who
live in Richmond Hill, Milton, Mississauga and all around GTA. women are receiving an opportunity to
showcase their talents like, singing, modelling, plays, and dramas. Artistic women are focusing on décor,
set up and floor plans. These galas have been successful with an attendance of 80 women.
Live & Let Live Foundation has motivated women who were suffering from loneliness, depression and
isolation. Healthcare Professionals recommend them to join this program. The staff at Aaniin Community Centre
motivate us to invite diverse groups to use their facilities and maintain an
overall good health.
LIVE & LET LIVE BOWLS
Live & Let Live Foundation has started a new program, a catering service to the women attending the Program. The
food is cooked in the conventional kitchen at Aaniin Community Centre and sold on each Thursday.
Since they are seniors and living alone it is challenging for them to shop and carry bags and cook. They requested this help from our team, and we have provided this service. The women are very happy with this service.
DISCOVER ONTARIO TRAVELS
Live & Let Live Foundation has been providing trips to various locations within Ontario to support local businesses and vendors.
Ottawa Train Trip : L&LL Foundation organized a trip to Ottawa during the winter break and they enjoyed the light
show over the Parliament building on Ottawa and spent 2 days of travel to the Byward market and parks
and Rideau canal. This travel has energized the group with great laughter through out the train trip.
Travel is therapy to this group. This has boosted their energy levels and has helped them to connect
themselves to other people and enjoy life in a therapeutic way.
INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL: TRAVEL WITH A PURPOSE
L&LL Foundation is providing international travel trips to ladies and couples. The objective of this travel is to visit
Orphanages and stay there for a week, help the children to learn life skills and English language.
School packs with all essential stationary and books will be gifted to these children. Healthy eating
practices will be taught to add to their food menu. Donations collected will also be donated.
Morocco Trip : We had planned a trip to Morocco on April 12th to April 20th. Due to Covid-19 we had to
postpone our trip.
BASERA HOMES RESPITE CARE FOR SENIORS
We are currently creating a plan to help the lonely seniors. Respite care will be provided to these
seniors when they feel like staying with other families for a day or two, to enhance a different feeling
and to create a feeling of support. Especially when their immediate family members are living across the
